David Lumby

David is the Director of Underwriting and is responsible for the technical underwriting result and for setting underwriting policy for the TT Club.
After graduating in Microbiology David joined Freightliner (a British Rail subsidiary) as a Management Trainee. After a year's intensive training he had operational management positions in Birmingham, Dudley and finally Tilbury where he was Traffic Manager for three years. After joining Thomas Miller in 1989, David was involved in underwriting TT business in the Netherlands, Asia and the UK before becoming European Underwriting Director in 2006.
Whilst at Freightliner, David passed his Class 1 HGV licence and Certificate of Professional Competence. He was then qualified to manage and operate a UK fleet of road haulage vehicles, which together with his British Rail procedural training meant he was qualified for both modes of land based transport.
David also speaks good Dutch and conversational French.
Daniel Shepherd

Daniel joined TT Club in 2019 in a newly created role, as Underwriting Risk & Controls Manager. His role consists of both underwriting oversight and first line defence compliance. Previous to joining TT Club, Daniel has built up a 23-year career in the North American claims environment.
Wendy Durrant

Wendy joined Thomas Miller in July 2019 as Credit Controller for the TT Club. She came to Thomas Miller with over 25 years' experience in accounting roles, most recently for an insurance broker. Wendy is AAT qualified.
Sayma Qureshi

Sayma joined TT Club in September 2015 as a Senior Finance Executive. She graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Mathematical Sciences and has experience in the investment banking and asset management industry. She is responsible for the preparation of the monthly management reporting and looks after the Hong Kong and Bermuda branch quarterly and annual returns and accounts.

Richard joined TT Club in January 2020 as a Finance Assistant having previously worked for the UK P&I Club since April 2019. His day-to-day tasks include producing month-end reports and reconciliations, cash monitoring as well as other project work within the team. Richard holds a BSc in Business Studies and Accounting from Canterbury Christ Church University and is currently studying towards his CIMA qualification.
Renee Bell

Renee joined TT Club in November 2021 as an Operations Assistant for EMEA, following 5 years at the largest global P&C insurer, AXA XL. Renee attained her Cert CII qualification in 2020, although her career started in the Legal field and is a qualified Legal Secretary. Renee has a range of experience within Law and Financial Services but is really excited to integrate with the RGM, underwriting and claims functions across the region. She will be involved in numerous improvement projects, business planning and other strategic initiatives.
Kerime Huseyin

Kerime joined TT Club as Senior Claims Executive in March 2020. She first studied law before starting work as a claims handler at Dolphin Maritime & Aviation Services. Kerime has since built up more than 10 years experience, most recently as Senior Recoveries Claims Adjuster at Chubb before joining TT Club. She is responsible for the majority of the Turkish Members as well as UK Members. Kerime also speaks fluent Turkish.
James Dunleavy

James joined Thomas Miller in July 2021 as Credit Control Manager for The TT Club, having previously worked as Credit Control Manager for other global insurers based in London. His role involves leading the team responsible for the allocation of cash and the collection of aged debt.

Elizabeth Tobin

Elizabeth joined TT Club in March 2020 as an Underwriter in the London Market team having spent eight years working at an International Group P&I Club. During this time she was responsible for various regions across Europe and Africa, as well as the offshore Middle East sector. Elizabeth has completed the Diploma in Insurance and continues to study for her Advanced Diploma.
