Dan joined TT Club in 1987 and provides underwriting, risk management and loss prevention assistance to Club members throughout North, Central and South America.
Before joining Thomas Miller & Co, Dan was a practicing attorney for eight years representing international clientele in litigated and non-litigated matters.
Dan has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Law degree. He has been qualified to practice law in New York and Florida. Dan also has active insurance General Lines and Surplus Lines licenses in New Jersey. Dan is fluent in Spanish.
Alex joined the TT Club’s finance team as a Financial Accountant in February 2023. He first studied Engineering before working in Finance Consulting in London within the Financial Services industry. Alex also speaks fluent Greek.
Yolanda joined TT Club in March 2023 as an Underwriting Technician for the UK, Ireland, Nordics and Benelux team after graduating with an LLB in Law with French Law, from the University of Birmingham. She works alongside Underwriters, whereby she manages administration and policy documentation, as well as communicating with members and brokers.
Alison joined the TT Club as a Senior Claims Executive in March 2023. She has more than 15 years’ experience in the freight and logistics industry, including cargo handling facility and transport operator claims management. She most recently worked as the Head of Legal and Risk for Bidvest Freight in South Africa, with responsibility for the insurance portfolio, legal advice, risk management and ESG reporting. She holds the following professional qualifications in South Africa: Admitted Attorney, Corporate General Counsel, Chartered Governance Associate and Certified Director.
Aminat joined TT Club in November 2021 as a Finance Assistant having previously worked at UK P&I Club. She holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Business Management. Aminat supports the finance team by dealing with the day-to-day treasury tasks and is currently studying towards her ACCA qualification.
Yee joined the TT Club in 2011. Based in the London office and having held various underwriting roles, she is now the Senior (portfolio) Underwriter of the London Market Team, underwriting both 100% mutual business and also subscription line business (following London Market Underwriters).
Sarah joined the TT Club as an Underwriter in 2011, previously coming from the Underwriting team at the Shipowners P&I Club. She works with TT Members in the UK, Ireland, Nordic and Benelux countries and has a Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Insurance.
Sarah joined TT Club in October 2016 having previously worked for Zurich Insurance Company. She works within the London Market Team supporting both mutual and subscription line business and managing administration. Sarah also provides back-up support and cover to the Senior Management Underwriting Technician.
Robert Kempkens LLM (Edinburgh) is a qualified German Rechtsanwalt who worked as a shipping lawyer in Hamburg for Wessing Berenberg-Gossler and Ince & Co. He joined Thomas Miller in 2006, becoming Regional Claims Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa in 2010.
