Time to take charge of lithium batteries

Amid a number of recent fire incidents affecting container transport, ro-ro ships and air cargo movements allegedly involving lithium batteries, international freight transport insurer TT Club is calling for increased vigilance to ensure a secure safety environment for the fast-developing supply chains of this increasingly common component.

Sandro Chu

Sandro is Senior Claims Executive in the Hong Kong office mainly handling claims for the South-East Asian and Hong Kong members. Before joining TT Club, he worked in the Trade Finance Department in Bank of America as Bills Specialist.
Sandro has obtained a B.A.(Hon) in International Business Studies from City University of Hong Kong and is studying for a diploma in insurance.
Sandro speaks English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
Sandy Ip

Sandy joined TT Club in 1993 and is responsible for the Hong Kong Members' claims and supervises Taiwan Members' claim cases. Prior to this she worked for a Trading company as the Secretary for one year.
Sandy has a Diploma in Legal Studies, a Professional Diploma in International Shipping Management and a Degree in Business Administrative Management She can speak Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
Suki Kwan

Suki joined TT Club in 2004 and handles claims for TT Club in the Hong Kong office. She also has the sub-regional responsibilities for membership in Japan and is the Loss Prevention Coordinator of the region.
Prior to joining TT Club, Suki worked for a chemical tanker owner or three years handling insurance and claims. She studied Shipping Management Studies and holds a bachelor degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
She speaks Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
