Ian Rosenthal

Ian is responsible for risk and regulatory compliance worldwide - the Club is licensed in the UK, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Bermuda & USA. He is a member of the Senior Management Committee and chairs the Executive Risk Committee.
Ian joined TT Club in 2006 to run the compliance and outsourced internal audit functions before handing over responsibility for internal audit to concentrate on regulatory compliance. In 2019, he also took over responsibility for risk management. Ian previously worked at Equitas, the Lloyd's of London reinsurance run-off vehicle, and prior to that was consultancy manager at two Lloyd's of London panel audit firms. In addition, he is responsible for risk and compliance for sister Club, International Transport Intermediaries Club (ITIC), also managed by Thomas Miller.
Ian is a Chartered Accountant (FCA) as well as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Specialist member of the Institute of Risk Management (SIRM).
Ian Rose

Ian is a Senior Underwriter located in the London office, within the UK & Ireland, Nordics and Benelux Team, with a focus on Mutual Liability business. Ian underwrites a broad spectrum of TT Club business, including Transport Operators, Freight Forwarders, Logistics, Ports and Terminals and Container Risks. Between 2017 and 2022 he was the Senior Underwriter for the Eastern European and Baltic regions for the Club.
Ian has previously held various Senior Underwriting roles in a number of Insurance Companies and Syndicates. He also has prior experience in managing a Delegated Underwriting Authority for a large Lloyds broker, and implementing a Managing General Agent (MGA) writing multiple lines of business.
Ian Hyslop

Ian is Legal Consultant to the Managers of the TT Club. He was a policeman for many years before joining a Maritime Intelligence Office, and from there joined a P&I Club. Ian joined the TT Club as a claims handler in 1990 and in 2002 was appointed Legal Director, responsible for legal, cover and documentary matters. In 2011 Ian retired from the company and took on a consultancy role, retaining many of his previous responsibilities.
Ian's practical experience lies in Eastern Europe (particularly the Former Soviet Union) and the Middle East. He is a barrister, with degrees in politics and philosophy. He also speaks Russian and French.
Helen Rathbone

Helen has been the Club's Board Administrator for 15 years, working in the Management team.
Geraldine Savin

Geraldine rejoined TT Club in 2018 and handles TT Club claims throughout the UK, France and Europe. She is a French qualified lawyer and holds an LLM in International Trade and Maritime law from Metropolitan University.
Geraldine first joined TT Club in 2010 and worked as a Claims Executive for three years. Before this she worked in a cargo recovery agency handling salvage and general average claims. Before rejoining TT Club in 2018, Geraldine worked as legal counsel for five years in a commercial insurance company drafting commercial contracts and policy wordings, and handling legal and compliance issues related to France, Belgium and Italy. She is fluent in French and English.
Duncan Mann

Duncan joined the TT Club in June 2017 and is currently an underwriter for the Middle East, Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean. He previously spent 10 years with ITIC, where he was responsible for claims and underwriting for the Indian Subcontinent, Middle East and North East of England.
Previously Duncan worked as a personal injury claims handler for the West of England and Steamship Mutual P&I Clubs for a total of 12 years. He is focused on the development of key accounts and generating new business as well as contributing towards business strategy and policy.
Dorota Jilli

Dorota became a Thomas Miller Director in 2008. She is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and is CIM qualified.
David Lumby

David is the Director of Underwriting and is responsible for the technical underwriting result and for setting underwriting policy for the TT Club.
After graduating in Microbiology David joined Freightliner (a British Rail subsidiary) as a Management Trainee. After a year's intensive training he had operational management positions in Birmingham, Dudley and finally Tilbury where he was Traffic Manager for three years. After joining Thomas Miller in 1989, David was involved in underwriting TT business in the Netherlands, Asia and the UK before becoming European Underwriting Director in 2006.
Whilst at Freightliner, David passed his Class 1 HGV licence and Certificate of Professional Competence. He was then qualified to manage and operate a UK fleet of road haulage vehicles, which together with his British Rail procedural training meant he was qualified for both modes of land based transport.
David also speaks good Dutch and conversational French.
Daniel Shepherd

Daniel joined TT Club in 2019 in a newly created role, as Underwriting Risk & Controls Manager. His role consists of both underwriting oversight and first line defence compliance. Previous to joining TT Club, Daniel has built up a 23-year career in the North American claims environment.
Wendy Durrant

Wendy joined Thomas Miller in July 2019 as Credit Controller for the TT Club. She came to Thomas Miller with over 25 years' experience in accounting roles, most recently for an insurance broker. Wendy is AAT qualified.
Sayma Qureshi

Sayma joined TT Club in September 2015 as a Senior Finance Executive. She graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Mathematical Sciences and has experience in the investment banking and asset management industry. She is responsible for the preparation of the monthly management reporting and looks after the Hong Kong and Bermuda branch quarterly and annual returns and accounts.
